I didnt know Simon for very long, but he quickly became a highlight of my day. I am a carer and looked after Simon for just over a year. He was an icon of fun and I looked forward to our conversations every shift. He made me laugh, made me think and he helped me grow both as a person and as a carer. He loved his films, he loved his music and we shared those passions.
Losing Simon has left a huge hole in my work. I cant explain that it feels empty because there are no more chats, no more listening to iron maiden, lynrd skynrd, no more talking about films.
I miss you Simon. You weren't just a resident. You were a friend to us all. I'm glad you're not in pain anymore. ❤
